2 cans (10-3/4 oz. each) condensed Chicken Broth 2 cups diced cooked pork 1 can (about 16 oz.) tomatoes, cut up 1 cup ketchup 1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 medium lemon, thinly sliced 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel golden corn, drained 1 can (8 oz.) lima beans, drained In large heavy pan, combine all ingredients except corn and lima beans. Bring to boi; reduce heat. Simmer 30 minutes; stir occasionally. Add corn and lima beans; heat. Remove lemon slices. Makes about 7 cups. Variation: to make 11 cups Increase to 4 cups pork, 1-1/2 cups ketcheup, 2 cans tomatoes, 1 medium lemon, 3 tablespoons vinegar, 2 tablespoons worcestershire, 1-1/2 teaspoons crushed red pepper and 1 - 16 oz. can corn. |
