2 cups flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 scant teaspoons soda
Dash salt
2 eggs
1 can fruit cocktail, undrained
Icing (recipe follows)
Sift dry ingredients together into large mixing bowl. add eggs and fruit cocktail. Beat well 2 minutes.
Bake 45 minutes at 300 deg. in 13 x 9-inch greased and floured baking pan. Frost while warm.
Icing
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 can angel flaked coconut
1/2 cup nuts.
Melt margarine in small pan. Add rest of ingredients. Bring to boil and boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Pour over hot cake.
