1-1/2 cups flour
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons Wesson oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup cold tap water
Frosting
1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
3 tablespoons butter, softened
Dash salt
2 tablespoons coffee
Sift dry ingredients together; put into an ungreased skillet. Make 3 wells in the dry ingredients. In the
first well, put Wesson oil. In the second well, put vinegar. In the third well, put vanilla. Pour cold tap
water over all. Stir with a fork until well blended. Bake at 350 deg. for 25 minutes. Cool and frost in
pan.
Frosting
Cream sugar, cocoa, butter, and salt together. Add coffee. Spread on cooled cake.
