Granny Cake

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cloves
3/4 cup butter, softened
3 eggs
2 cups mashed banana
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans
 
Beat butter for 30 seconds.  Add eggs, bananas, pineapple, and vanilla.  Beat until well combined.  Combine flour, sugar, soda, salt, and spices.  Add flour mixture to butter mixture.  Beat on low until combined, then on medium speed for 1 minute.  Fold in pecans.  Bake in bundt pan at 325 deg. for 70 to 75 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
