Libby's Famous Pumpkin Pie

 
This is the published Libby's Pumpkin Pie recipe.

1 unbaked deep-dish pie crust
2 eggs
1 can (16 oz.) Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 can (12 fluid oz.) undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
 
Preheat oven to 425 deg.  Beat eggs lightly in large bowl.  Stir in remaining ingredients in order given.  Pour into pie crust.
 
Bake for 15 minutes at 425 deg.  Reduce temperature to 350 deg; (Do not open oven door.); bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 350 or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.  Cool on wire rack.
 
*Note:  If using a metal or foil pan, bake on preheated heavy-duty baking sheet.
