28 oz. angel flake coconut 1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk 1 box powdered sugar 1 stick butter
or margarine, softened Almonds (optional) * Coating: 2 pks (12 ounces) Milk Chocolate Chips
1/4 piece paraffin OR 1 pkg Vanilla Candi-Quik Coating OR 1 pkg. Chocolate Coating
Mix coconut,
milk, sugar and butter till mixture is moist and there are no traces left of powdered sugar. Let mixture set in refrigerator
overnight.
Form balls and put on waxed paper. Top with 1 almond and press in, if desired. Put back into refrigerator
and let set until firm.
Coating: Melt in double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. Cover each piece with care. Let
set until dry.
*Note: Be very careful not to get any water in coating as 1 drop will keep it from firming up.
