1st layer
3/4 cup butter, melted
3 tablespoons sugar
2-1/2 cups crushed pretzel sticks (do not crush too fine)
2nd layer
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 medium size container Cool Whip frozen topping
3rd layer
1 large pkg. strawberry jello
2 cups boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed
Mix butter, sugar and crushed pretzels. Press crust in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish and bake 8 minutes at 400 deg. Let cool completely.
Beat cream cheese with sugar and stir in cool whip. Spread on crust. Cool.
Dissolve jello in 2 cups boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries. Refrigerate until cool, but not jelled. pour jello mixture on top of cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until set.
Makes 15-18 servings.
