1 butter cake mix (without pudding)
4 eggs
3/4 cup oil
1 small can mandarin oranges, not drained
Blend cake mix, oil and eggs until moistened. Add mandarin orange section with juice..mix well. Pour into 3-9 inch cake pans (oiled and floured). Bake at 350 deg. for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool completely. Mix icing ingredients and spread on cake. Decorate top with pecans. Cake must be kept refrigerated.
Icing
1 8 ounce container Cool Whip
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, with juice
1 box instant vanilla pudding
Small bag pecan halves
Mix dry pudding mix with undrained pineapple together. Add cool whip to pudding mixture, stirring well. Ice cooled cake.
