2 tablespoons olive oil
3 large chicken breasts (I use boneless, skinless)
1/2 medium onion, sliced or chopped
1/2 medium bell pepper, slivered or chopped
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can water
1/2 teaspoon oregano
Brown chicken in olive oil. Remove chicken from skillet. Saute onion and pepper in oil. Pour off excess oil. Return chicken to skillet. Mix dressing, tomato sauce, water, and oregano together in a small bowl. Pour over chicken. Simmer over low heat until chicken is tender. Serve over hot rice.
