1 lb. hamburger 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1/3 cup onion, minced 1/4 cup milk 1 egg 1 tablspoon parsley 1 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce 1/4 cup shortening 1 bottle Heinz Chili Sauce (12 oz) 1 10-oz. jar grape jelly 1/2 teaspoon ginger Mix first 8 ingredients. Form into meatballs. Melt shortening in skillet and brown meatballs. Remove from skillet and drain off fat. Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet until jelly melts. Add ginger. Mix well. Add meatballs and stir until coated. Simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Serve warm. |
