1 small onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, diced
1 tablespoon oil
1 can (15-1/4 oz.) kidney beans, drained
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 beef bouillon cube
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/2 cups Minute Original Rice, uncooked
Cook and stir onion and pepper in hot oil in saucepan until tender, but not browned.
Stir in beans, water, barbecue sauce, bouillon cube and garlic powder. Bring to boil.
Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff with fork.
Makes 6 servings. Recipe can be doubled.
