Ham and Bean Tacos


This is an Old ElPaso recipe.

1-1/2 cups diced cooked ham
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 can (8-1/4 oz) OLD EL PASO refried beans
1/4 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
dash garlic powder
12 OLD EL PASO Taco Shells
1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
shredded lettuce
1 medium tomato, chopped
OLD EL PASO Taco Sauce

Brown ham in butter in small skillet. Stir in refried beans, sour cream, chili powder, and garlic powder. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until heated through.

Meanwhile, place taco shells on baking sheet. Heat in 350 deg F. preheated oven for 5-7 minutes. Spoon ham filling into taco shells. Top with cheese, lettuce and tomato. Serve with taco sauce.
