Hot Brown Sandwiches

1 slice toast
1 slice baked turkey or chicken
1 piece American Cheese
2 strips bacon, fried crisp
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup leftover gravy (or Medium White Sauce -See below)

Note: This is for each sandwich. You should assemble them on a pan which can be used for broiling.

Place slice of turkey (or chicken) on toast. Cover with American cheese. Place strips of bacon on cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with gravy (or white sauce). Place under broiler until cheese melts and becomes golden brown.

MEDIUM WHITE SAUCE (Optional)

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk

Melt butter; stir in flour. Add milk. Cook until it reaches desired thickness.
