Rhubarb Cake

This is a dump-cake type recipe, meaning you use the cake mix dry. I received it from Virginia, an internet friend. Thanks, Virginia.

6 cups uncooked rhubarb, cut into small pieces.
1 cup sugar
1 3-oz. pkg. strawberry jello
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 box yellow cake mix
1-1/2 cups water
1-1/2 sticks margarine, melted

Spread rhubard pieces in 9 x 13" pan which has been sprayed with Pam. Sprinkle sugar over the rhubarb. Mix cornstarch and jelly; sprinkle over sugar.

Sprinkle cake mix over the ingredients, spreading evenly over. Slowly pour water over top of mixture. Pour butter over all evenly.

Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 deg. for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
