Mexican Chocolate

1 quart milk
1" stick cinnamon
3 tablespoons ground coffee
2 squares sweet chocolate
1/2 cup boiling water
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt

Heat milk to scalding with the cinamon and coffee. Strain and add the chocolate which has been melted in the boiling water. Heat again to the boiling point, remove, and add vanilla and salt. Beat until frothy and serve hot.

Serves 6.
