1-1/2 quarts apple cider (6 cups)
2 tablespoons sugar
4 three-inch cinnamon sticks
In saucepan, bring all ingredients to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat to low and barely simmer 30 minutes. Strain to remove spices. Serve warm in mugs with cinnamon stick if desired. Makes 6 cups.
*Note: Cider may be kept warm on hot tray or in slow cooker.
