1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Condensed Sweetened Milk
1 (12.oz) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 375 deg. Combine crumbs and margarine; press firmly on bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 8 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 deg.
In small saucepan, melt 1 cup chocolate chips with milk and vanilla. Spread chocolate mixture over prepared crust. Top with remaining 1 cup chocolate chips, then nuts; press down firmly. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Chill if desired. Cut into bars. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
Makes 24 to 36 bars.
